Yelvertoft 3 is a beautifully presented BRAND NEW 60’ reverse style Semi Cruiser style narrrowboat. She was built as a sailaway by the highly regarded Colecraft, fit out completed by Yelvertoft Marine and launched in Dec 2020. She is a stunning boat both insde and out.
The fore and aft decks are real points of difference on this boat. The aft deck is huge at 6’4” long and has bench seats either side (one houses the gas bottles) with demountable tables that sit in between for al fresco dining or socialising - a really good social space either on the move or static. Under the boards sits the ever popular Beta 43, navigation is aided by the bowthruster.
Steps lead down in to the good sized galley (over 10’). This has plenty of storage space and utilities comprise of a four burner gas hob, oven & grill, a stainless steel sink, and an integrated 12v fridge (with icebox).
Passing a side hatch, one moves into the dinette area. This has two demountable tables which will seat six for eating (with additional chairs). There is storage under and this converts into a spare double if required. Storage cupboards sit opposite.
The saloon is roomy enough to put in a sofa bed or a couple of armchairs. There is a TV aerial point over some cupboards on the starboard side and against the forward bulkhead is a solid fuel stove and further cupboards and shelves.
Frosted glass doors lead to the bathroom - a walkthrough arrangement and huge at 7’6” long. The shower is a quadrant style, the loo is a pumpout and the basin is ceramic. There is also a heated towel rail and some linen shelves.
The bedroom is in the forward cabin. The fixed double is 6’3”x4’ (storage under), and there are cupboards over, at the end of, and opposite the bed. More than enough storage and also another TV aerial point in here.
Steps lead onto the huge well deck with bench seat surround.
The water tank is large (900 litres) and water is heated by either the engine, the Webasto central heating or an immersion. She has a 3kw inverter, all the lighting is LED and she has five 12v batteries on board. All the windows are double glazed.
