Meridian is a beautifully maintained example of a narrowboat built by Arcrite Fabrications, a company founded by former employees of Harborough Marine, known for their boat building in the 1980's and 90's.

Owned from new for 41 years, she has been a cherished part of the owner's life and remains in exceptional condition – practically as good as new.

Her interior features a simple, robust, owner fit-out, comfortably accommodating up to four people.

Warmth is provided by Webasto diesel blown air heating system, and hot water comes via the engine and immersion heater.

The boat is equipped with a 230V shore power connection, along with battery charging supported by a 20A and 5A charger, along with 2 x 120W solar panels with an MPPT controller.

The superstructure was professionally repainted and blacked in 2021 by Weltonfields, and replacement windows were fitted at the same time.

While Meridian is well equipped, there is still scope for system upgrades, such as adding an inverter for additional flexibility.

This sale comes with great sadness, but the owners hope that the next owners will enjoy her as much as they have, after four decades of loving care.
