Description

Kingfisher is a charming 30’ cruiser stern Sea Otter built in 1999. The aluminium hull makes her light-weight and maintenance free; and with no risk of rusting there’s no need for blacking or anodes.
Sea Otters have a unique ballast system; when launched, empty sections of the hull fill with water, which drains when lifted out, and at 30’ you can load her onto a trailer and towed by car to anywhere in the country, before launching again.
The 3’8” well deck features lockers either side and access to the bow locker. A good condition cratch cover also comes with the boat, ready to put on when the weather gets bad.
Steps lead down, through glazed doors, into the 6’0” saloon. She is fitted out to a high spec, with ash faced ply and ash trim throughout. There are bench seats both sides, with a large amount of storage under, 2 demountable tables, and converts into a 6’0” square cross bed double berth.
Next is the 3’8” galley, with laminate worktops, Country Leisure Caprice 4 burner gas hob, oven and grill, stainless steel sink, and plenty of cupboards for storage.
A single wardrobe sits midship, before entering the 7’6” aft cabin. On the port side is a 2 seat dinette, with storage under, which converts into a single berth. Wooden slats slot into place over the dinette, to provide an additional bunk bed berth as well, with a second wardrobe by the aft steps.
Doors on the starboard side give access to the self enclosed shower room and separate Thetford cassette toilet with plastic wash basin. The shower door can also be locked into place to separate the aft cabin sleeping area from the forward saloon.
Steps lead out onto the cruiser stern deck, with the Duffield-Perkins 20hp engine housed below.
She is centrally heated by a Truma Combi hot air blower, with vents through the boat, which also provides hot water.
12v power is via 2x 86ah domestics with a separate starter, and 240v power is via the landline hookup. A Sterling battery charger is also installed.
Lighting on board is halogen throughout.
