Two well respected names of the narrowboat building world came together to produce a completely self-sufficient craft with lots of extras including a 7kW diesel generator boxed-in and sound insulated in the aft cabin.
Heating is provided by a ‘Squirrel’ solid fuel stove, fitted with a back boiler supplying radiators in the bedroom and shower room.
There is also a matrix heater taking advantage of free heat produced by the engine, warming the bedroom and aft cabin.
Storage has been well thought out with the inclusion of a multi-function desk/dining table in the saloon and very useful pull-out larder unit in the galley.
To keep the batteries topped up, when peace and quiet is preferred, so not having to run the engine or generator, The Boat is equipped with a 240W bank of solar panels.
