The previous owners of Strip the Willow purchased her in 2011 and at that time it had to be said that she needed some work to be carried out. On starting the work themselves, they realised that they may have bitten off more than they could chew, therefore they had a professional refit at Stowe Hill which was completed in 2013.
The interior of Strip the Willow benefits from deeper than normal windows which were replaced at the time of the refit, giving her cabin an unusually bright feel.
With the exception of the linings, the interior was all new, with the cream upholstery and bright striped curtains complementing the oak finishes.
If your plan is to cruise all of the canal and river network including navigations with locks of a shorter length, then this boat could meet your requirements.
At present the onboard 230V system would have to be described as rudimentary, but this could easily be upgraded with the installation of a landline.
The external paintwork would benefit from a polish and a lick of paint to some areas.
