Bright Angel is a charming 60’ trad built in 1999 by Worcestershire Steel Boatbuilders and fitted out by Pinder and the original owner. She has been well cared for, having been blacked in 2023 and again in May 2024, and a full survey was carried out in May 2021 which is available for viewing in the office.
The cratch covered well deck has plenty of open space for a table and chairs, if al fresco dining is your thing. The 500L stainless steel water tank is below.
Steps lead down, through glazed stable doors, into the 13’9” saloon. The painted oak T& G fit out makes her feel cosy and charming. There is a Morso Squirrel solid fuel stove, 24” TV, 2 comfortable arm chairs, a folding desk, and a couple of cupboards and shelves.
Next is the galley (10’9”) , with a freestanding table and 2 chairs sitting between the galley and saloon. Under wooden worktops sits a 12v Shoreline fridge, ceramic sink, and heaps of storage. The Kenwood oven, grill & 4 burner gas hob was new in 2022. A side hatch adds light and air.
The 5’4” walk through bathroom follows; a charming room with a Thetford cassette loo, a shower over hip bath and a basin over vanity unit.
Following, the bedroom is 11’9” with a 6’1” x 4’6” cross bed (new mattress), two large open wardrobes and 2 side dressers with drawers.
The stern cabin is last and large at 7’ long. This houses the electrics and other storage options. The Barrus Shire 44hp is under the floor boards. Steps lead up onto the rear deck.
She is well equipped for a very comfortable liveaboard. 12v power is supplied from the bank of 4 domestic batteries (110ah) and one starter (topped up by the 200w of solar power). 230v is supplied by either the 2.5kva Victron inverter/charger, the landline, or the 3.5kw Travel Power generator. There is also a galvanic isolator on board.
Lighting is mostly LED.
The four radiators on board are heated by the Webasto diesel fired central heating, and hot water is supplied from either the engine, the Webasto or an immersion heater.
She has been tried and tested as a liveaboard boat, and is ready for her next adventure with new owners.
